CLIENT RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Niagara Falls Community Health Centre’s (NFCHC) management, staff, volunteers and students agree to be courteous, professional and respectful to clients at all times and in all circumstances. The NFCHC will provide high quality, confidential services in an environment free of discrimination.  In turn, clients of the NFCHC are expected to treat everyone in a courteous and respectful manner, without discrimination.

 

YOU HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO:

  • Participate in your health care plan

  • Be on time for appointments

  • Ask questions whenever you need to

  • Treat others with respect

  • Be accountable for your actions

  • Ask for accommodations that you need

  • Quality care and services

  • Be seen in a timely manner

  • Be fully informed and understand your care

  • Make a complaint or express a concern

  • Privacy and confidentiality

  • Be treated with dignity and respect

  • Feel accepted and safe

  • Accept or refuse treatments and be informed of the impact of your decision.
